Thanks for visiting! I’m happy you’re here.
I’m raising a family in Connecticut, and stealing every minute I can to knit, spin or just snuggle some skeins in my stash.
My designs always start with inspiration from a particular yarn. Unique hand dyed yarn from indie entrepreneurs, earthy woolen-spun yarn and everything in between is what my dreams are made of. I’m passionate about supporting small businesses like indie dyers, shepherds, farmers and small batch mills. I hope you’ll join me in supporting these people who keep the fiber community alive and vibrant.
I believe that inclusive design must be the standard for hand knitting patterns. All of my garments are designed with this principle in mind. This applies (but is not limited) to size, race, national origin, age, ability, gender identity or expression and sexual orientation. Representation in knitwear photography matters to me and I hope you will find this reflected in many of my pattern photos. Every body is worthy of thoughtful design.
My patterns are test knit and tech edited. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with feedback or questions. I’d love to hear from you!
