Bonfire is your next summer statement knit. This tee features an eye-catching colorwork yoke and a classic relaxed fit for no-fuss styling.

This circular yoke tee is worked with the top-down you know and love from my patterns, and includes short row neck shaping for a comfortable fit.

Yardage details for all ten size options can be found on the product page via Ravelry or Payhip.

Construction
The Bonfire Tee is knit seamlessly from the top down. The neckline is cast on and short rows are worked to raise
the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The colorwork yoke is knit, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top down.

Gauge
24 sts and 32 rounds = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch, worked in the round using Needle B, after blocking.

Needles
Needle A (Collar)
One 16” / 40 cm circular needle, US 2 / 2.75 mm
or one size smaller than needle size needed to get gauge

Needle B (Main Fabric: Beginning of Yoke)
One 16” / 40 cm circular needle or longer, US 3 / 3.25 mm or size needed to get gauge

Needle C (Colorwork)
One 24” / 60 cm circular needle or longer, US 5 / 3.75 mm or two sizes larger than needle size needed to get gauge

I highly recommend swatching in both single-color and stranded colorwork to see if you require a larger
needle size for the pattern’s colorwork rounds, as it is not uncommon for one’s stranded gauge to be tighter than one’s single-color gauge.

Needle D (Main Fabric: Yoke & Tee Body)
One 24” / 60 cm circular needle or longer, US 3 / 3.25 mm or size needed to get gauge

Needle E (Hem Ribbing)
One 24” / 60 cm circular or longer, US 2 / 2.75 mm or one size smaller than needle size needed to get gauge

Needle F (Sleeves)
One 40” / 100 cm circular needle for magic loop or DPNs, US 3 / 3.25 mm or size needed to get gauge

Needle G (Cuff Ribbing)
One 40” / 100 cm circular needle for magic loop or DPNs, US 2 / 2.75 mm or one size smaller than needle size needed to get gauge
