City Limits
City Limits is a relaxed, drop shoulder pullover with a striking textured stitch pattern around the lower third of the sweater body. Twisted stitch detailing at the cuffs and neckline add stylish details to this comfortable classic sweater.
City Limits is knit from the bottom up, in the round, with a graphic twisted stitch motif around the bottom half of the body. The front and back are separated at the armholes and worked flat. The shoulders are joined with a three needle bind off, then sleeves stitches are picked up and knit inside out to the cuffs. The neckline stitches are picked up and knit in half twisted rib.
Finished Bust Size
32 (36, 40, 44) 48, 52, 56 {60, 64, 68}” / 81.3 (91.4, 101.6, 111.8) 121.9, 132.08, 142.2 {152.4, 162.6, 172.7}cm
Suggested Ease
I recommend wearing City Limits with 4-6” of positive ease. The measurements above are for the finished garment, so select a size 4-6” larger than your full bust. The amount of ease is flexible and can be adjusted based on your personal preference. Please bear in mind that if you choose to knit a size with less than 4” ease, you may need to knit your sleeves longer than directed in the pattern. I don’t recommend less than 2” of ease, as drop shoulder sweaters get some of their arm mobility from ease in the fit.

A note about yarn substitution: many of my test knitters used sport weight yarn and were able to get gauge. I recommend a heavier sport weight to lighter DK weight when selecting yarn for City Limits.
