Salty Air Sweater

Combining the elegance of lace with the comfort of a relaxed fit, the Salty Air Sweater is a versatile and stylish addition to your handmade wardrobe.

Salty Air is worked with my go-to top-down construction, perfect for fit checks, with raglan increases worked after the circular yoke to enhance the fit.

For ease of reading the pattern, instructions are both charted and written.

Construction

The Salty Air Sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down. The neckline is cast on and short rows are worked to raise the back of the neck for a comfortable fit. The lace yoke is knit, then the body and sleeves are separated and worked from the top down. The sleeves can be knit with or without shaping. The collar stitches are picked up and knit for either a folded or a flat collar.
