Side Trip
Side Trip features two distinct color work motifs and is fully reversible, so you can switch styles depending on your outfit, mood, or day of the week! The cowl uses two colors of DK weight yarn and the colorwork is addicting enough to move this project right off your needles and onto the blocking mat.
I designed Side Trip with Lambstrings Ewetopia DK base in the color ways “Live Deliciously” and “Pavement,” - the deep red and grey version. I also knit up a second version with “Live Deliciously” and “Cicaca” - vibrant speckled gold and deep red.
Construction
Side Trip begins with a provisional cast on, is knit in the round from end to end and seamed with the kitchener stitch after pulling one half inside of the other.
