I created the Something Happy Hat to be a companion for the luxurious Something Happy Cowl. The pattern calls for a bulky weight yarn and fingering weight yarn that is held tripled to create a warm, dense fabric.

To Fit: Child/Adult Sm (Adult Med, Adult Lg) 
with 2-4” negative ease

Needles 
US 8 / 5 mm or size needed to get gauge, 
16” circular needle and either 40” circular (for magic loop) or DPNs to work crown decreases

US 5 / 3.75 mm or three sizes smaller than needle used to 
get gauge, 16” circular needle

Gauge 
Using US 8 / 5 mm needle, 20 sts and 40 rnds = 4” / 10
